Register your son or daughter for the Tour of Flanders for children
The Tour of Flanders for children will take place on Sunday 24 March at Park Spoor Noord in Antwerp. There, children aged 2 to 12 inclusive can take part in races free of charge on an enclosed course in the park.
Fietsbieb, beweging.net, Antwerp District and Flanders Classics are joining forces for the second edition of the Tour of Flanders for children. On Sunday 24 March, one week before the Tour of Flanders for professionals, children aged 2 to 12 inclusive will have the opportunity to conquer their own Flanders’ Finest in Park Spoor Noord. As the icing on the cake, participants get the chance of being selected by lottery to step on to the starting podium of the Tour of Flanders on 31 March as part of the Fietsbieb team.
The races will be run in age categories and will take place between 13:00 and 16:00. Participants can bring their own bicycle or use a bicycle from the Fietsbieb. Since taking part is more important than winning, we are not going to have winners of these races. All children who take part will go home with a fun souvenir after their race. Gent-Wevelgem on the big screen
As well as the races, on Sunday 24 March you can enjoy a nice drink on the terrace, savour a tasty snack from the food truck and watch Gent-Wevelgem in Flanders Fields on the big screen. The youngest among us can have fun on the bouncy castles or take part in a great workshop.
