The Paterberg is traditionally the final climb in Flanders' Finest. With one ascent for the Women Elite and two for the Men Elite, this is one of the points on the route you don't want to miss. Discover in the dropdown menu below how to get to the Paterberg smoothly.
Do you live nearby? Then be sure to come to the Paterberg on foot. The public zone is situated in Paterbergstraat.
If you want to come by bicycle, park your bike in the Weyns bicycle parking area in the centre of Berchem. Please note, the bike parking is unattended. Therefore, be sure to bring a bike lock with you. Then take the free shuttle bus at stop B3 - Park & Bike Kwaremont and get off, after a short ride at stop B1 - Paterberg.
The outward journeys are scheduled between 10:00 and 13:15. The return journeys start after the passage of the women, as from 18:00. The last bus goes at 20:00.
Are you not from the area, but still want to come by bicycle? You can! Load your bike on or in the car and take exit 3b Kortrijk-Oost on the E17. From there, follow the signs ‘Park & Bike Avelgem’.
Leave your car at one of the car parks provided in the centre of Avelgem and jump on your bike. A signposted 7.5 km cycle route alongside the Scheldt will take you to the Weys bicycle parking area in the centre of Berchem. Please note, the bike parking is unattended. Therefore, be sure to bring a bike lock with you. Then take the free shuttle bus at stop B3 - Park & Bike Kwaremont and, after a short ride, get off at stop B1 - Paterberg.

The train is a great alternative for a visit to Paterberg. From various cities across Belgium, you have direct train connections to Oudenaarde or Ronse.
- Gent-Sint-Pieters - Oudenaarde - Ronse: more frequent service with the running of extra trains on the outward and return journeys.
- Ostend - Brussels - Brussels-Airport Zaventem, with stops in Bruges, Kortrijk and Oudenaarde, among other places.
- From Antwerp: Antwerp-Central via Ghent-Sint-Pieters to Oudenaarde and Ronse.
- From France: Lille Flandres (FR) via Kortrijk to Oudenaarde.
Plan your journey via the button below. After arriving at Oudenaarde station, board the free shuttle bus at stop A4 - Oudenaarde Station. Then get off at stop B1 - Paterberg.
A stop is also planned at Ronse station. If you board at stop C4 - Ronse Station and get off at C1 - Paterberg, you can enjoy a full day of the Tour of Flanders in the fan zone.

Several public car parks are provided for the Tour of Flanders in Oudenaarde and Ronse. For the car park in Oudenaarde, take exit 8 De Pinte on the E17. From there, follow the signs ‘Publieksparking Bruwaan Oudenaarde’.
Park your car and then take the free shuttle bus at stop A5 - Parking Publiek Bruwaan. Before the Paterberg, get off at stop A1 - Paterberg
To get to the car parks in Ronse, take exit 31 Frasnes on the E429 and follow the signs 'Publieksparking Ronse'. Then get on a bus at stop C4 - Ronse Station. Before the Paterberg, get off at stop C1 - Paterberg.
